But the world has changed. The code we write is increasingly best left to AI. The craft of building digital systems is being commoditized. So we asked ourselves: what does it mean to build things that compute in a world where computers build themselves?
The answer brought us back to the original computers. Mechanical timepieces are computing machines that have endured for centuries precisely because they represent something permanent: human craft, institutional knowledge, and the desire to build things that outlast their makers.
Kelsus Watch Co. grew out of fifteen years spent obsessing over how things work. We're applying that same obsession to mechanical watchmaking.
